I think price is fixed. If i recall correctly, shld be between 30 - 40 ringgit.. need some confirmation though

Cinemas at Pranglin Mall and 1st Avenue Mall near your hotel. Go for supper and mamak stall teh.

Take the limo service from the airport or take Rapid Penang 401E to Komtar. From Komtar, you walk there.

Perhaps you could consider car rental? In Penang is really cheap, that was what I did 2 yrs ago with a group of 5. Bring own gps/phone navi. Some of the crowded roads might be abit more tedious to navigate.
