Guess you are looking at this "...rebates offered by Maybank in respect of other promotions on the Card is 5% or more... shall not be taken into account as the required Card spend". Well, all I can say this clause is copied from the GSS spend and redeem promo TnC, not sure if it is an oversight or it really exclude spending that give 5% rebate eg NTUC/popular/pizza hut delivery etc.Maybe can call the bank to enquire if you are interested

But those vouchers can only used at kallang ntuc rite? Citibank cso say so. Besides kallang too far from my place, tpt waste money

Just suggesting, for grocery buys... would suggest going for the Imagine combo + whichever cc card u use to top up combo if you already have the Imagine card or don't mind investing $5 for the first month to get 7+ whatever % future months.

I used vouchers for about 2 years but stopped recently since all NTUC is accepting Amex. Convenience aside, other "practical" reasons as follows:

1) Vouchers usage, either you will not optimise the said 7% since it's rare that your bill will hit the voucher value nicely and usually have to pay residual with a lower % card.

2) If you are a regular cold storage customer, the self service counter offers 3% discount option. You can't use vouchers for self service counter so the 7% becomes only 4% for vouchers.

3) Missing out on mall related promos if you use vouchers. For most malls, you can't qualify for any promos with vouchers purchase. When you make another purchase with your vouchers subsequently, you still can't qualify cos your spent value doesn't hit criteria. In contrast, if you top up Imagine card first, spend with Imagine card, the entire value spent will qualify for the mall promo.

wrong. there is no such thing as kallang vouchers. ntuc vouchers can be used anywhere. kallang is at quite a central location. take a train there from the furthest corner in sg is probably 1.6. buy $80 voucher already get back the money.

there are many imagine card users that will not be happy if you post this.
