Hi guys can anyone recommend me a good lecturer for micro and macro econ?

IMO
Micro go for Sovan.
Quality lecturer that actually teaches rather than spoon feeding info/ans.
This will come in very useful especially with the many curve ball questions during finals.

Need some help from UOL students, particularly Banking and Finance Students.

I'm studying 9.5 module units for 3 years,
exempted from
ST104A Statistics 1
FN1024 Principles of banking and finance
and 1 unnamed 100 course.

So what must i take for my year 1 course?
EC1002 Introduction to economics
MT105A Mathematics 1 (half unit)
AC1025 Principles of accounting

That's 2.5 module units only leh. Thinking of taking 3.5 for my year 1, 4 for my year 2 and 2 for my year 3.

Thinking of maybe taking FN2029 - Financial Intermediation during my Year 1 also.
So.

Year 1 (3.5 units):
EC1002 Introduction to economics
MT105A Mathematics 1 (half unit)
AC1025 Principles of accounting
FN2029 - Financial Intermediation

Year 2 (4 units):
1 of the Level 200 Economics (1 unit)
FN3092 Corporate finance (1 unit)
One elective from Selection groups A, B, E, or M (1 unit)
One more elective? (1 unit)

Year 3 (2 units)
FN3023 Investment management (1 unit)
1 lvl 300 elective? (1 unit)

But don't know how to decide my electives.... I'm absolutely horrible in math....

yeah too bad, i heard so much good thing about him. nope im in econs and mgt :)

i assume u took econs, maths 1 stats 1, poa, and bmgc in year 1?

how abt considering switching to anf or bnf where u still fulfill the core mods but using bmgc as a lvl 100 elective? these 2 courses do not require u to take both micro and macro as core mods

a degree title is just...a title after all

Pass all ur year 1 units first. Electives can be VSA,MSM... or other theory ones. Since u said u are weak in math (do u take amath in sec sch?) Practice math1 past yr paper esp the calculus type. Another unit should worry is econs although now there are mcqs. While FI, mostly hav to use the essential txtbk to do well
(can study urself although the lecturers provide notes), and requires u hav the knowledge in pbf.

Didn't take A Math in Sec school. Actually i did, but i was so bad at it that i couldn't even complete 1 question for my O Lvls A Math paper.

Left with Math 1, intro to econs, POA for my year 1 modules. Probably need to add in a Year 2 module into my Year 1.
Can't take MSM cause i haven't complete Math1 though... Can't take VSA cause haven't pass POA also.
