no still have ed woodward.

and rafa benitez only obstacle to us signing sergio ramos.:s8:

RM's manager has no say in the transfer market....all were bought by the President as a bragging rights to appease the supporters... it is the role of the mgr to get them to function as a team.

i think he fell out with LVG. LVG wanted him out, so he dumped the dirty work to Ed.

honestly, its quite a shame. RVP should have been treated better. maybe the missed high5 at the world cup was a bad omen then.

i think rvp has seriously lost it...

although we didnt supply the ball well to him, ...some of the shots he missed/saved last season, seriously he should really have scored them

LVG benched Falcao to play him leh, and drop Rooney to midfield...he had his chances...if only Hernandez has his

Nicolas Otamendi has threatened not report to Valencia training as he agitates for a move to Manchester United this summer.

United have identified Argentine defender Otamendi as a potential target as Louis van Gaal looks to bolster his squad's defensive stocks.

The Red Devils have prioritised the signing of Real Madrid defender Serigo Ramos, but it is understood that Otamendi is also on their radar as a potential back-up plan.

The Daily Mail is reporting that the centre-back has reportedly told Los Che that he wants his future resolved before the club returns to training on July 27.

Otamendi is keen on a move to Old Trafford and is determined to push through the transfer which could cost the Red Devils £35.65million which is the player's buy-out clause in his Valencia contract.

y so many argentine players want to come over ?

It must have been tough for LVG to sell RVP, on a personal level.

For me, it's the sign of a good manager. Ruthless yes. But good.

Isn't that what SAF was before. He was equally ruthless once your usefulness had decreased, or you stepped on his toes

yep, at best, he could probably only play 20 games a season due to his injuries.

but i feel man utd as a club, still owe him as a club to give him a proper farewell. not a legend yes, but maybe a line and a page to thank him.

A certain Argentine bad boy pulled this stunt too last season, and it got him here with us. Maybe it is an Argentine thing haha.

If we sign Ota or even Ramos, do we honestly believe Giggs can manage these groups of elites? Bastian, Schnerderlin etc. after LVG's contract is up

Players who "chute" stunts to come to MU....

Dwight Yorke, Rojo too ( I didnt know abt it) and now is Otak ?

Players who "chute" stunts to leave MU
Heinze who just wanted to leave..didnt bother if it was Liverpool or MC.
Ronaldo was hypernating when knew of RM's interest...but managed to be "convinced" to stay for one more season.

but the best one has to be William Gallas who threatened to score own goal if he was not released and still play for the team in the new season...

not sure if it was from chelsea to arsenal or vice versa.
