My ice crasher in early stage tio laped by war bands gao gao, dunno lose how many level worth of exp Liao haha

The game keep dropping me these ridiculous high damage 1h mace. Tempted to try ice crash with 1 hander.

playing melee is the challenge part where if your lvl or gears not good. I killed Act 2 boss in cruel and when i go to act 3 , my hp seems draining too quick and dead.. lost 5%

yup melee is actually recommended for more experience players.. since you need to understand the defensive options in the game (stack as much HP from items and from passive tree)

my first character also melee
until lvl 60 only 2k HP~

Well, I believe it's just due to bad combination of mods, and a mixture of game knowledge and RNG. When you mention life draining too quick, did you get hit by a bleed? Or did you get corrupting blood stacks?

By right your life should not drain very fast, unless you stack in chaos degen cloud, or you run around while being hit with bleed stacks.

corrupting blood and bleed are those effects that die die need to have a clear bleed flask~

okay lar.. we not in bloodline league.. so dun think can see corrupting blood that often~

Eh you forgot the rare mob with corrupting blood mod ah? Not only bloodline got. If you ask me, I think bloodline one at least yo can control the number of stacks. Kill 1, you get 2 stacks niah, wait it out and kill the others.

If rare mob? I cyclone through jitao 19 stacks liao.

I was shocked when you told me last season you had 2k life at level 60 Good times.

Melee does have some difficulty, but they are by far easier to gear. You can do mid-game maps with a 4L, while casters struggle if their gems not at the correct level and no 5L.

But if you use shockwave and flame totem then different story liao.

I prefer caster, but I feel that right now casters very little way to mitigate. During beta, I got 8k EHP, 3.5k life, 4.5k energy shield. Yet when it came to mid-game maps, this pack of blue Devourers popped up, stun me, and the use of 2 of my instead heal flask also cannot counter the amount of damage.

I kenna 32 stacks before with my ball lightning build, fire into 2 rare mobs with corrupting blood, cannot control because spell, and my flask to remove bleed was empty.

Needless to say I died really nicely.

i always panic when i see my hp drop so fast.. press potion and run quickly.. the combat system still not flawless la, need to stop attacking before we can use other skill like leap slam or war cry.. somtime i panic, i tried to leap slam but my left mouse keep attking so can not leapslam and kiss floor instead

Your setup needs to be looked at if you are dying to stuff that seem random to you.

the first one is your defence setup. Your enduring cry and possible CoDT->Immortal Call setup. remember 2 things.

One, if it is not physical Immortal Call will not help.
Two, if you see Immortal Call go off. You need to think defence and retreat.

Finally, staying and fight is not manly. It is the highway to quick deaths

I always remember D3 Barbarian leap which give you temporary add armor.. feels really like GODS.. in POE feels really like normal people..

I think you got bleed. Have you heard of the bleeding sound before? If you got bleed from monsters, there will be this PSHHHHH sound like you hold your pee very long, then finally go relief yourself. You need a flask with bleeding immunity.

The 2nd scary one is corrupting blood. If you ever see red orbs orbiting your character, it means you kenna corrupting blood. Both bleeding effects become worse when you run. You need the flask to remove the bleeding.

I do not recommend CoDT Immortal Call early game honestly, you are better off keeping your charges. 7 balls gives a lot of mitigation and life regen.
