i got a first gen fiio x3 and i feel it brings out the potential in my fs atrios. so fiio range should be gd enough unless u got the spare cash to spend. imo fiio is more value for money. havent tried the more budget x1 or the new x3 yet though.
btw, any eta on ur g10s?
I wanted to buy a Comply Foam Tips for my Futuresonics G10. But I checked Comply website and they only have Atrios tips. Just wondering is the tips the same for G10?
Yes, the Atrios and G10 tips are exactly the same.
Thanks. Placed my order via Lazada this morning at $50 for 2 packs of 3pairs TSX100. ^^
By the way, 2nd day having my G10 and quite nice. The burn-in is making the G10 sounds better compared to day 1. Will continue the burn-in for a week. But it's not as boomy as my AH-C300. Different sound signature. Listening to New Thang by Redfoo using G10 is quite enjoyable. XD
Is there any reason why you plan to use Comply tips with the G10? I read on Head-fi that the comply tips may change the sound signature of the G10, similar to my experience when I used the Shure Olives for my Atrio.
Really?? I didn't know that. I used comply tips for my AH-C300 previously for better noise isolation and because of the wax-guard. Erm.. my ear is wax-type which easily dirty. So, the wax-guard is quite important.
The earpiece doesn't have any protection at the nozel.
Personally, I wouldn't use foam tips with most dynamic driver IEMs. Foam typically make an IEM sounds darker. Also, foam tips are freaking expensive to maintain. I use Ortofon and JVC Spiral tips for my EX-1000 and TG334.
YMMV.
To fanboy FS more you can try getting this. Custom fit for their universals drivers

I have thought about it. But add another $50+ I can get another pair of G10 already. Too expensive. LOL...
Anyway, it's 3rd day having my G10 now and it's getting better and smoother. =)
But still, is there any IEM that have similar sound like a woofer? Powerful and rocking. Good for clubbing songs.
The softwear sleeve is more like an investment. You can continue to use it with future universals from FS, not just with the G10.
The only IEM that I can remember that have woofer-like bass is the FXZ200.
The price exclude ear impressions so the price is another g10 but u are paying half the price of a custom for a custom fit.I have thought about it. But add another $50+ I can get another pair of G10 already. Too expensive. LOL...

I dunno, always felt fs had the most punchy and controlled bass. It's not distorted and u feel the boom of it. Might wanna try different source

The G10 I am using now is nice. But sometime I prefer clubbing-like feeling when listening to some songs. =)
Er, install disco ball & light in your bedroom?
