Check with you guys, currently I have TPLink wireless router AP connected to ONT modem, and I want N56U to provide the wireless access to one of the room. I connected the WAN port to wall socket. I can get the WAN IP address (192.168.1.x) from TPLink and my LAN is 192.168.0.x. When I connect to WiFi, I couldn't browse an Internet at all. Is there any settings to enable it or something wrong with my setup?

LAN IP : 192.168.0.1/255.255.255.0/GW:192.168.0.1
WAN IP: 192.168.1.2/255.255.255.0/GW:192.168.1.1 (TPLink router)

I'm thinking of connecting N56U directly to ONT modem but going through TPLink router, is it possible?

Is username/password required for M1-Fibre because I didn't see it in my TPLink router configuration.

Thanks.
You want to use N56U as AP only? have you turn off DHCP at N56U?

I see, there's an option to use N56U as AP only if I remembered it correctly, but my previous router were able to act as wireless router based on the same setup.

So if I configure it as AP only, it will get the DHCP address from my TPLink and issued it to wireless client? I didn't see DHCP relay option though.

Thanks.

It seems like even if u set it to AP mode the DHCP also need to disable manually, at least i remember what i saw in my Padavan fw.

Thanks. I'm still with original 3.x firmware, will try to flash Padavan later. ;)

Hi,

What is the diff bet transmission client (transmission build) and aria2 download manager (aria build)? Which one is the right one for BT ?

Another thing, does padawan allow u to give names to yr dhcp clients like dd-wrt?

Thks

paiseh, before I have chance to play with padavan, my router stopped working without internet. So I flashed it back to asus factory fw now.

Np. I m just wondering what is the diff between bit torrent client and download manager.

So, padawan caused yr 56u to stop working?
