I don't know about the rest but I can't bear to sell any of my precious collection (be it gold or silver). I bought them because I like them. I am nearing 50 and thus the kick bucket scenario is very real for me. That is one reason why I stopped buying tubes of silvers and restrain to only two pieces per design now.....=:p

same same. i also cannot bear to sell my own personal collections... :(
its so nice to see, how to let go

I think most, if not all, agree that Gold is more liquid than Silver in SG. My earlier question was whether the current liquidity of Silver, with buy-back options at the dealers, is sufficient for one to consider buying into Silver, especially given its higher premiums compared to Gold.

:s11::s11:

If you pay more premium percentage wise when buying silver as compared to gold, if the spot price of gold and silver increase or decrease by the same percentage, which do you think would be a better buy?I have not even mentioned about storage issue, liquidity issue and tarnishing for silver...

Anyone purchase PM from Indigo Precious Metals before?

They require full payment before you can go down to collect or pay for shipment.

I saw this in some of their products description, "GST is Applicable on this product in Singapore"... I just checked on IRAS website using their company name and business registration number found on their website, they are not a GST-registered business...So if anyone who bought from them and had to pay 7% GST, please report this company to the authorities...

Yeah. Don't let these unscrupulous dealers spoil the PM name.

So please tell me if the company is a GST-registered company or not?If it is not a GST-registered company, how is "GST is Applicable on this product in Singapore"?

Please read here...
https://www.iras.gov.sg/IRASHome/GS...egistering-for-GST/Charging-and-Claiming-GST/

It specifically states that, "Only GST-registered businesses are allowed to charge and collect GST on the goods and services they provide."

Edit: One thing to add, Baird and Co is not in the LBMA list of good delivery bars...so the bar would incur GST if you place an order from overseas which is above $400 and it ships to Singapore...However, if the item is already in Singapore, the non-GST registered company cannot anyhow charge you 7% GST or collect any GST which it had paid when importing the non-GST exempted products... If the business is GST registered, they would not have to pay GST for importing the non-GST exempted precious metals and would collect on behalf of IRAS the 7% GST from the customer...

Might have a 2015 1oz gold Britannia for sale. Will let you know when it arrives.

But your asking price for platinum is below current spot bro. :D
