Not sure. Probably due to time constraint? I rather that they do it over 2 days and have a proper BO5 + no sideboarding rules allowed.

They don't even have hearthstone installed on their laptops.

That means, if I am using zoo and lost with it, I can immediately switch to a handlock for the next game. It's not the standard rules, where deck lists are fixed.

It was way too slow. We played till after 10pm and had to continue the remaining of the tournament tomorrow under a DIFFERENT set of rules. The constant change of rules makes a lot of players unhappy.

Yeah, it was getting so late that we asked the organiser if we could adjourn to another day. Some participants were secondary school children who have school tomorrow.

My match is at 7.30pm tomorrow, so I'll leave the spectate mode on for those who wanna watch. Lost 2-3 during the semi finals of the winner's bracket (had really bad draws), so I will be playing the semi finals of the loser's bracket.
