Tia gong nia ma. How could local ranger be tougher than US ranger where there's plenty of them in unit be it SIR, Guards or CDO.

Whereas US ranger only a handful of them, u can see quite a number of them in CDO but in SIR unit, unless they kana demoted and posted there, or else u dun get to see them

Like my CSM only have local ranger, diver and airborne, whereas another company line CSM a former CDO has US ranger, airborne, thai airborne, path finder, chiu say who more satki and garang?

agreed. nowadays, local ranger is not that satki like last time.
the standard of passing is not as high as the past.
this was told by a WO who was SEAL trained.
we just don't have a big population of trainees start with......let alone culling....

those who were send to US for all these ranger course, SEAL course, the only way to get out of course is injuries. else, they don't have face to come back to SG as a quitter.

But i doubt US terrain is as thick and tough as brunei terrain. Hence if any soliders can go through the training and s hit in brunei temburong they might be able to go through the US ranger course as well?

Those saf regulars who went thru both us and sg ranger course who passed r allowed to put either 1 tab and cannot put on both. So usually people will assumed our local who has us ranger must have obtained sg ranger b4 that.

Those who went thru both ranger course feep local ranger is much tougher. Tekan based training where. Us ranger is mission based .

even us seal now got prebuds course for psycho and physical prep. it's not worth the time and injuries to just throw ppl straight into the course with crazy demands.

Which is why moi is suay to be under my CSM in unit last time, he the most siao lang & like to tekan & torture men as compare to the rest of the CSM/RSM in our unit when comes to range, field training, SOC or drill

Even the US ranger CSM formerly from CDO oso not like him so siao. Guess he use the local ranger training he pickup to drill and tekan his man
