Wa like that OCBC card how to use overseas? I think overseas i use my SCB liao.

Physical overseas transaction would be as per normal..The bank admin fees + visa/mastercard fees..

Or like the usual flyscoot.com.tw purchase and charged in NTD online using cc would be as per above..

Somehow this 0.8% is closing up the loophole of purchases done online from overseas web and having them bill you in SGD which effectively siam the typical forex scenario..

If an overseas transaction is charged in the currency other than SGD, a 2.8% fee will be levied.

If an overseas transaction is made in SGD (if such an option is made available by merchant), a Dynamic Currency Conversion (DCC) Fee of 0.8% on Visa or 1% on Mastercard is incurred.

Hope this clarifies.

It depends on the website's rate..Like Amazon's SGD rates ma chiam paypal...Imagine u gong gong(I believe u will ) go use SGD on Amazon kena sucky rates then kena another 0.8% from OCBC..Dbl combo !!!

Kudos for their effort but gonna cancel it anyway..The criteria to hit 6% not attractive anymore..
