Good day bros,

I plan to build a gaming rig with an low budget of 500 to a max of 700.

I need an Wifi adapter. i dont need a monitor/kb/mouse. just the Cpu itself.

Wanna play games such as LoL,Dota2,CS:GO and blade and soul.

hope to be able to run at least mid to high specs without fps issues.

If possible a little futureproof with availble options to upgrade parts as time goes by.

Please advice as im not really tech saavy.

Thanks fellow members.

Blue is 7200rpm?
Why need wd black if you store impt programmes on SSD

Either way, wd black is not 'budget' and costs too expensive for what it does.

Edit: missed out build never include ssd

Just an opinion, how bout downgrading the wireless module to a cheaper one (since we don't know if he has wireless AC router anyway), then change HDD to SSD.

If TS requires more storage space, can next time add on HDD.

good thinking. given his budget and games he mentioned he is going to play, I think the hard disc space is more important than SSD for now.

I could be wrong....but I hardly see any homes using cable connect to modem now...the free modem given by ISP from a few years ago are already wireless enabled....

I did a quick search for blade and soul and saw that it's a mmo. Quite similar to gw2 sia haha even got downed mechanics.....anyway from one mmo player to another I would suggest to upgrade the cpu. Mmo tends to be more cpu intensive cus lots of calculation needed so getting a cpu would help alot. :)

Rather he stick to a known to be good and reliable wireless-AC adapter that can last him for years since 802.11ac standard seemed to stay for years. TS may also most likely change to a wireless-AC router in the near future when price tumbles down. He no need to change the adapter too.

You can also wait for flash sale for Samsung SSD 850 EVO or Transcend SSD 370S on Lazada and Qoo10.

All parts can be upgraded. :)

Games you wanna play are pretty light so no need that powerful graphics card...
