Thank you so much! Really have to commend the service provided by Sineoji. Recently signed up M1 comex promo 200mbps and was thinking of a solution to link from ONT to router. Sineoji was helpful to recommend a few options and finally decided to run ONT straight into powerline.

Shortly after M1 guys installed ONT, Sineoji arrived and helped to setup the powerline. I have to say they are prompt in appointments.

Sineoji went the extra mile and help me set up the router as well. (I ish noob ) Had some troubles with the router and they assisted me to call router hotline also..

Really thumbs up for the service provided. Thank you once again!

This afternoon our support staff visited your residence on the last follow up where we have upgraded a customise firmware to your pair of PL1800E due to your unique home powerline infrastructure.

I was also being informed that with customise firmware flashed , the down link and up link between 2 local and remote PCs on the same power strip was 300+ mbps.

Do let us know as you continue to monitor situation.

I am also on M1 1G fiber but my link is only 130Mbps at best although I am seeing between 500-700 HPAV values.

My connection:
ONT => Router => PL1800EP (living) -------PL1800EP => laptop (master)

Where are you located in Sg ? Can come over to check for you.

If your HPAV rates from the sineoji utility show 500 to 700, rather on the low side. A good number will be 800 to 1200.

Can you take a pic of the wall socket where your homeplug is for both ends ?

In fact, HPAV fluctuates between 122 and 804 for link between living room and the socket in the bedroom. For this link, my DL averages 150 Mbps.

If I connect to an alternate socket in the same room, I get 856-977 HPAV. For this link, my DL averages 280Mbps. I was hoping to get around 500Mbps

I live in Punggol.

Using a pair of 1800Mbps Homeplug with the following setup.

ONT--Asus--Sineoji 1800EP (Living Hall)
Sineoji 1800EP--Notebook (Bedroom)

The download speed via the Sineoji 1800 from your bedroom is 313 Mbps.

You may use the WRE750E as an access point to be connected to the PL1800EP and broadcast dual frequency 2.4G and 5G respectively based on 802.11ac.

So I do not need to connect it with a Ethernet cable, right? Which mean I just plug it into power socket (connect current homeplug network) & configure as AP, that's all, correct?

You will need to connect a ethernet cable to the WRE750E to configure as an access point. The WRE750E is not a homeplug powerline.

Your HPAV rate of 395/319 is rather low. Average we see for most homes are 700-800.

Somewhere is interfering and causing the low HPAV rates as shown by the utility.

It will be best if we can come by to check. PM me.

Hi Leon,

All thanks to your colleague, Dean, who came by this evening to resolve my problem. Found out that the PL1800 connected to my router is plugged into a renovated wall socket, which has caused the HPAV to my master bedroom PL1800 to fluctuate wildly between 200 and 850. This led to the low DL of 150Mbps (though low, it was still 3 times faster than another brand's latest product that I just bought and used for just 5 days before I switched to Sineoji !!!)

After using another wall socket, which is not a renovated one but the original from HDB, in my living room to connect the PL1800 to the router, the HPAV to the master bedroom stabilised at 890-950. However, the DL only managed 280Mbps at best, most likely due to noise such as the internal rewiring during the massive renovation.

Next, he unplugged the PL1800 and plugged it into the first bedroom's original HDB socket just next to the living room. This time, the HPAV stabilised at about 1400. I was amazed. Here my DL reached as high as 350Mbps.

I am very enlightened now. Dean is knowledgeable and clarified all my doubts and concerns.

This is the 2nd time he has come to help me in less than 5 days. First time he came, I was fully convinced by the Sineoji product after his demo. So I went to Challenger to ask to replace the other brand to Sineoji. Second time today, he cleared almost all my concerns.
