Paiseh, side question cos I speccing for an ESXi rig. Is having more RAM more important or faster RAM more important?
More ram if on a budget... if got cash why not both..
Just becareful of processor stepping.. example 3930k c1 stepping have a bug and VT-d flag not working.
C1? Aren't the C1s the first retail stepping?

because ddr4 2133 2400 cl15 cl16 vs ddr3 with lower cl
Modern IMCs are not CL sensitive.so for those mb that have this, so if i use 2133mhz, 2400mhz, 2666mhz all ok right? any difference if i use 3000mhz?

Nope. Not at all. Maybe 2400 if you're paranoid but 2133 is plenty to get by.
