hmm bro. intending to go on a full day Taroko Gorge tour on the 2nd day of my stay. Still planning on what to do on the first day. i was also adviced to go for the East Rift valley tour.

B) East Rift Valley
The east rift valley (route 9) is a series of pastures and ranches. The half-day tour (4 hours@NT$1,700)passes through 鯉魚潭Liyu Lake, 雲山水, Lichuan(立川漁場), and museums near Hualien: 慶修院 and 松園別館.

Should i be going for the East rift valley tour or i should just walk walk around hhualien myself? I'm going with my parents, don't want to shag them on the first day. can sic some places of interest that i can plan for my first day :)?

Hi there
There is a Hualian Minsu I always book. It's located by the sea. and you can enjoy their night activity--Sky Lantern Release in the Minsu. Btw, I'm a tour operator. If you need any help or information. Please contact me :)

This is the b&b that i stayed there for 3days, the host is a very friendly aunty. Note that there is two branches, the one that i stayed is near the sea. Location wise is a bit out of the way but host can send u to and from the railway station. Other transportation depends on the host if she going out, can get a ride from the host but need to arrange with her on the ground.

Stayed in 观月 during my recent trip to hualien. Owner of the minus is really hospitable, rooms are clean & minsu provide tours. Hassle free planning of what to do when in hualien. Here's the link of the minsu site. ªá½¬¥Á±J-Æ[¤ë¥Á±J-

Anybody has experience booking Bayview Hotel? I tired using my credit card but it doesn't go through. The last option is using wired transfer and there will be a high amount of fee... :'(

I did with their b&b last year..the hotel is a bigger premises with more rooms just a few min away on the same stretch actually..hotel manage by son while the b&b is run by her mom..

Prefer the smaller one thou as it's nearer to the sea while the hotel has a big empty of land in front before the sea.

For the booking right, I paid in cash upon checkin..

Anybody here actually did a taroko shared bus tour by bayview? The price is very attractive (NT700) as there's only my boyfriend and me but I don't know what's the route like and if there's time to see most things.. :vijayadmin:
