The range of lego over at BIC/yodobashi are like our metro. Good instore discount + credit card discount + tax rebate. Probably more than 30% diff comparing to here. For UCS/modular, I have seen at ClickBrick. Pricewise not too far here, probably 15% diff or less.

Thank everyone for the tips. There are still good buys for me at BIC, like FO MF, or the technic flagship...

Have you been keeping track of how much you have been spending on average every month? Seems... unparalleled!

Yes, I do have a database of my toy collection. Total spent on toys as of today is at $228,511.00, of which about $115K is on Lego sets.

In SG quite difficult to survive as a photographer. I had a former colleague who resigned to go full time photography but cannot make it and came back to the company.

For me I took some photography courses back then and with friends even go on frequent guided photography trips in Malaysia.

But I only did a bit of wedding photography (mostly for friends getting married) back then, so no full time.

Where in Japan can find UcS and modulars?

Tokyo got a legoland right? Over there got?

Clickbrick is their LCS. Tokyo do not have Legoland, the 1 over at Obaida is Lego Discovery Center, need to bring a kid along for access. The lego shop also by clickbrick which also can be found in most premium outlets, tokyo train station and etc.

Normal lego can be found in Bic-Camera and Yodobashi

i'm going Japan in nov. Most probably going Gotemba

The lego shop there is quite good right?

Better clear my credit cards first. hahaha

Over there got post office or not? Can freight cartons back? LOL

Gotemba lego shop is Clickbrick and all clickbrick store whether in outlets or in town, NO TAX REFUND. Example for a Fairground mixer it cost close to 19K yen which is about SGD$220 but if buy from Malaysia Legoland is SGD$180

You can refer to the link below.. it is stated "The LEGOLAND® Discovery Center is right next to the LEGOLAND® Shop. You can visit the LEGO store without the need to buy tickets to the attraction."
https://www.legolanddiscoverycenter.jp/tokyo/en/legoland-shop/legoland-shop.aspx

the lego set price from clickbrick is not worth it at all to me.. But there have those special shirt and stuff...
