Guys i'll be going Tokyo this Nov for 8/10 days, 1st time free n easy in Tokyo so need your expert opinion to fine tune, rough plan as follow:

Day 1 - Reach Yokohama at evening
Day 2 - Enoshima, Kamakura, Yokohama
Day 3 - Tsukiji, Tsukishima, Ginza, Yurakucho
Day 4 - Asakusa/Sensoji, Tokyo Skytree, Odaiba
Day 5 - Ueno Park, Ameyoko, Akihabara
Day 6 - Kawagoe day trip, Roppongi at night
Day 7 - Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, Shibuya
Day 8 - Last min shopping and back SG

Any idea if where to go if I can extend my leave for extra 2 day? except for Disney (not interested), Hakone (Owakudani closed) and Fuji (plan to climb next summer)

Day 3 onwards, u are staying on at Yokohama or back to Tokyo?

Asking because if u are just staying one night at Yokohama, it doesnt make sense as Yokohama is so close to Tokyo.
The traveling and switching of hotels with luggage can be tedious.

For the extra two days, here are some suggestions.

U can go to Nikko (temples), Kawagoe (Edo Japan streets), Fuji 5 lakes.
Doable as day trips but some people stay overnight at Nikko or Fuji 5 lakes.

I went to Ito and stayed at a ryokan there with onsen.

Thanks will check it up

Ic, though easlier to go Kamakura, Enoshima next day if stay in Yokohama, that case maybe just stick staying in Tokyo.

Might be cheaper and take less time if that is the plan.

The Japan experts can chime in on this.

Day 1 - Reach at evening, go Shinjuku and Kabukicho see see look look
What time does your train arrives Tokyo? Assuming you are travelling via Narita Airport, please take into account the time require for clearing immigration, waiting for luggage, buy train tickets, take the long train ride from Narita Airport to Shinjuku, go to your hotel to deposit luggage....and then you can start heading out and explore Shinjuku, so it might be later than you expect.

Day 2 - Yokohama, staying overnight
Maybe take early train to Yokohama, deposit your luggage, then visit Kamakura in the morning and noon. Then late afternoon and evening you can visit Yokohama.

Day 3 - Kamakura, Enoshima (can do together with Yokohama?)
You can visit Enoshima in the morning to afternoon for this day, then after that you can pick up your luggage and head back to Tokyo after you are done with Yokohama on this day, since it would be easier for you to go Tsukiji from Tokyo the next morning than from Yokohama.

Day 4 - Tsukiji, Tsukishima, Ginza, Yurakucho

Day 5 - Asakusa, Sensoji, Tokyo Skytree, Ueno Park, Ameyoko
Might be slightly tight...depending on how long you spend at Tokyo skytree doing shopping/queuing to go up.

Day 6 - Akihabara, Odaiba?
Hmm, why not consider doing Asakusa/Sensoji + Tokyo Skytree + Odaiba on the previous day (since there's water ferry between Asakusa and Odaiba), and then Ueno, Ameyoko and Akihabara together on this day perhaps?

Day 7 - Meiji Shrine, Harajuku, Shibuya, Roppongi
Going to be tight. I only visited Harajuku + Shibuya and I already ran out of time within 1 day. Unless you start off your day really early for your visit to Meiji shrine, and end off really late at Roppongi, otherwise this is going to be a really rushed day for you with not much spare time to do actual exploring of the shops.

Day 8 - Last min shopping and back home

Any idea if where to go if I can extend my leave for extra 2 day? except for Disney (not interested), Hakone (Owakudani closed) and Fuji (plan to climb next summer)
Maybe get a 3 days JR Kanto Area railpass, and visit places like Karuizawa, maybe 1 overnight at Kusatsu onsen, and maybe a daytrip to Izu perhaps?

Schedule to reach at Narita at 3, should be able to reach by 5+/6pm right?

Not really a shopping person, anyways will keep that in mind and still have half day on my final day. :)

Thanks for the suggestion, will incorporate your input and revise :)

just a suggestion, why not head directly to Yokohama from Narita? that way u change hotel less times. I did that in 2011, changed hotel once (Yokohama then Shinjuku) Enoshima and Kamakura is easily accessible from Yokohama. Kamakura ain't small, walking can be tiring if you rushing for time, there are buses, IIRC.

tot of that before, prob is that i'll arrive evening so its only 1.5 days for Yokohama, Enoshima, Kamakura which feel rush for me unless stay 2 night there.

if you are doing Kamakura and Enoshima on the same day, start your trip from kamakua and end it at Enoshima. As you can watch the beautiful sunset at Enoshima. If you are lucky Mt Fuji is visible on a clear day too.

Last time I use this pass
http://www.jreast.co.jp/e/pass/kamakura_enoshima.html

I purposely bought this rather than Odakyu pass is because of the monorail, its a unique hanging type of monorail. and of course the retro Enoden(odayu has enoden covered too, but no Monorail)
