TIA!

altc and sungbeng are the two i usually call and ask.
also can go sgcarmart to look for used tyres in the marketplace.

only buy second hand if you scraping in less than 1 year. and only look for 80% tyre threads and no more than 2 years old. and look for good brands.

tyres are like the most important part of a car. seriously, from braking, to acceleration, to wet roads to cornering, to fuel efficiency, noise level, suspension comfort and even your ego. so don't save on tyres.

unless you are buying literally to scrap instantly, then please drive slowly to the scrapyard.

Try buying second hand tyres and repeat your demand for 80% tread, less than 2 years old and of a certain brand. Not many tyre shop will entertain you or carry stock. Would you sell such a good tyre yourself so someone else can benefit?

Unless you are racing the car, any DOT certified tyre will do regardless of origin, unless you think you smarter and more qualified than US department of transportation. Without DOT certification, tyres cannot be exported for sale in the US. So even DOT branded tyres from China are perfectly safe.

Recently had bad experiencing with second hand type, do check the second hand type threads carefully, some of the threads look deep and new, cos they are cut by some black heart ppl. The one I had buy even can see the metal wire come out if have close look. The guy admit one of the type is kena cut one, free for exchange.
I regret nv ask for the receipt when change the type, want to raise the issue to CASE or some other relevent agency.
