A restaurant, especially one that sits within an old school brand of hotelier operations is not allowed to err in such-and-such manner.

All meals served, be it entrée, main or desserts must be at its best. No such thing as mains is ok while others are fugged up.

Beside this is just a rib fillet. Nothing special. The reason being called a tomahawk is that thye left the whole rib bone intact.

Anyway, nothing against your review, just that this is my industry and seeing this really disappoint my expectations.

no worries and thanks for pointing out some of the technical aspects such as the sorbet - another lesson learnt! overall imho, they are a decent steakhouse but probably not the best in town, else they wouldnt have been around for more than a decade and not many even know of its existence.

I believe Longbar is bleeding $. When I walked past during dinner yesterday, the place was practically empty. Never really fancied their steaks and for them to host bloggers to drum up business is really telling. :o
