Anyone knows if nageb has BMGC class on thurs or friday 830am or 12pm slots? Do help tq!

He has classes on Friday 3.30pm.
But chances are, students who were kicked from tuesday, are probably heading there next.
Plus those whom are already crashing there since day 1...and that the admin staff possibly extending spot checks to that friday slot.....Goodluck buddy

Tuesdays are at 12pm, but they have already assigned seats to those allocated students, so chances are you will definitely be kicked, if your not from the tuesday class. The SIM admin staff are determined to check that class to the max. The question is whether they will check the other classes?

Wednesday is the safest, but not for long..... if everyone starts having the same idea. Its at 7pm, so yea. It depends on your desire, the fact that I went last night, shows how much faith, I have in my current lecturer(not called Nageb)

Balwant MA class

Anyone still crashing Balwant MA class on thurs? I heard they implemented a permanent seat plan or smth, to make sure people cant crash his classes anymore... I want to crash his class but i dont feel sure, Help anyone?

Sidenote: My original MA teacher is Manek, I came to his class once and I don't really fit in with his teaching style...

With this "unable to choose lecturer" thing, it is almost not worth it to study at SIM anymore. Probably other institutions will be better.

I second this. Tried to bring this up to SIM but they went ahead with this can't choose lecturer.
Thank God I'm in my final year and so far my lecturers are alright.

Does anyone know if nageab CMC has other timeslots between tue to thur (except 7-10 timing)? Heard many recommend nageab, decided to try sneaking in his tue 12-3 this week, already got staff guarding the door before 12. Heard previous comment that some classes have permanent seating, may I know is this class affected too?

Sim should blame themselves..for hiring those unwanted lecturers...if those lecturers are good..will students even crash other lecturers lessons..

Heard the thursday one, yesterday, was relatively trouble free (from SIM Staff). But that could change soon....heard all the popular teachers classes, not just nageb's, are getting permanent seatings

On your sidenote, Manek likes to remind his students that he has produced top students. Problem is those "top" students, I heard, actually went to crash Bahwatt and/or Mok classes. Then again you can take that as a rumour and nothing more.

P.S. I was manek POA student, and still passed without crashing.

Actually this was going to be a No-Win situation(not everyone would be happy), and will attempt to guess why.
Had SIM allowed choosing of lecturers, everyone would've gone for the popular ones, like nageb, etc.
Then those on the later enrolement dates, would've complained about poor "luck" instead, due to popular lecturer classes being closed OR his/her enrolement dates being too late
By not showing lecturer names, I guess they hoped to make the "luck" more even out, regardless of enrolement dates.

Exactly.

I was lucky to get very good tutors out of random chance for academic year 1.

I'm in my second year now and some of their tutors make me feel that the school has utterly failed when it comes to finding proper quality tutors.

I'm typing this while in class. A very lousy lecturer is spending more than an hour on an exam question that we have full solutions to. And he's not value-adding to it at all. His explanations are as good as reading straight from past year exam commentaries.

His class attendance has dropped to below 30% vs the attendance of his first lecture and quite a few people openly tab their student card and leave. (There's literally only 19 people in his class now, Nineteen)

In contrast, for the exact same module, another lecturer has his class always filled to the brim.
I'll be furious if I'm chased out the 2nd lecturer's class because my original lecturer is really useless.

If SIM hire more of such incompetent tutors, I'll recommend other private institutions to my juniors.

But I'm still lucky. The other two lecturers I have are really good and captivating.
