our players are too static to play tiki taka game, the playmaker is lack of imagination and not creative, we don't the quality of barca MSN, our main striker really off-colour, he has become the liability for the team.

Normal time PK stops only when the balls goes out of play.
So from your scenario.

Rooney takes a spot kick, keeper saves.
Gets mob by teammates, and accidentally cross the goal line, ref watch beeps, goal awarded perhaps as own goal?

In PK shoot out, the ball stops moving means end of turn. this I reckon. Need someone to quote FIFA regulations... haha
No I am not referring to this match or any match, just purely an example coz I read somewhere just now that, in normal time pernalty kick, if the ball never touched by the GK, subsequent touches by the kicker (after his 1st shoot at goal) are invalid. If kicker shoot, ball hit post or pole, rebounce, kicker got the ball and send into net, it is invalid. But, if ball rebounce and his teammates receives it, send into net, it is validm(all this scenario, GK never touch the ball). Just to confirm this.

:)

Kicker cannot touch the ball 2 times before the post, gk. Same rule to Freekick bah.

Say a striker push the ball to the left or right a bit, then kick, will be invalid even if score.

But if kicker, I remember Hazard, he kick, keeper rebound the ball out, he got to the rebound and score. I remember seeing on soccernet.

81min - Hazard miss PK
81min - Hazard scores. ( from the Pk rebound )

Can't recall if a stiker hit the post and picks up the rebound again. But in my opinion, that should be counted as goal.

Kicker hit the post, collects rebound and place it into the net.

lucky i slept n spared myself the agony of seeing us crash out of the carling cup again!

but in all honesty, i am not that bothered, as i always felt this competition was for the youngsters n those coming back from injuries to gain match fitness.. this season out squad is quite small, so i think that having another long run in this cup might be a bit difficult to cope in terms of fatigue n injuries..

not saying that we wanted to lose the game on purpose, but that it just might be a blessing in disguise: would you rather want us to win the CCL, or to get 2nd in e league/enter QF of UCL?

more like wishful thinking

1st if he messes up and we missed top 4. there's no way a top manager like guardiola will come

and even if we are in champion league wat makes you think he will leave his team and come

Not going to rant for now.

Utd will probably bounce back againist palace with a nice victory then all will be forgiven.

After all, still 2 points from the top. Boring football or not.

Not going to rant.....for now.

Hi chengsun.

If the penalty taker hits the post without the keeper touching it and the rebound gets to him and he scores, its not counted.

Is it immediately considered foul, when he touches the rebounded ball (GK never touch it), even without scoring it? Or he can actually get it and pass to teammates to score?

The rules state that the player cannot touch the ball unless another player touched it. So i guess he cannot do that as well.

If it is kicker's teammate got it and send into net, valid right?

Oh paiseh, should have asked you if you meant shoot out or normal time.

Fappingking already answered, but I also remember last time Henry will creatively roll the ball to Pires for him to kick in.
