u are right, actually nowadays, i find myself spending just for the sake of spending to max out the rebate, very very bad addiction. :s22:

I also sometimes spend more than i need in grocery just to max out the rebate, it turn out that what i dont need actually cost more than 5$ rebates lol

Max amount of rebates with min amount of spent

Do I understand correctly that the classical 'find optimal solution' - max amount of rebates: $7 for everyday expenses + $2 for transport related expenses - is now $200?

So spending minimum $200, where $100 is ordinary expenses and $100 - ezlink topup, will provide the max amount of rebates?

Should be
1) Spend min $50 from Amex purse to earn 7% rebate, rebate capped at $5 ($71.43 spent). [Usage of Amex purse to pay for top-ups/stored value for prepaid accounts (Including for EZ-Reload by Card services) shall not qualify for the 7% rebate]
2) Spend min $50 on Ezlink for MRT/bus to earn 2% rebate, rebate capped at $2 ($100 spent)

Spend 71.43sgd for any spendings? ( groceries, shopping centers, hotel, bars... etc)? online spends like agoda , redmart, lazada counted or not?

So, total min spend for max rebate - $172, right?

Think most people will be concerned about maxing out the 7% on the Amex purse for $71.43 spending. For the 2% on transport, think most people just use it without really need to track.

Is it a a requirement to have ezreload activated in order to have the 2% rebate for transport? I have never gotten the 2% rebate despite using it for transport.
