CPU price like equally expensive leh. I calculate +gst +1.45 rate.. Boardrs also.

Any recommendation ? I tot of evga but their perf seem to lag behind the other brands.
In the first place, what's your intended colour scheme?

white or neutral color such as the sabertooth.. which is why MSI not within my consideration =:p

OH wait.. EVGA also cannot cos it's EATX board.

Wad do u mean by neutral? Sabertooth's colour scheme isnt neutral. Grey-green-black isn't neutral at all.

I'm assuming neutral kinda means all-black so that u can shine LED on the rig and the mobo colour scheme does not get in the way? MSI SLI-Plus is all-black.

Monochrome rather i think. TBH i prefer MSI over ASUS's white conductive sticker...

Yeah. I also assume neutral means monochrome, or something along that line.

Sabertooth's colour scheme looks more camouflage-themed than neutral-themed to me...

Neutral as in dull colors so that White parts and the LED will set the contrast. I thought Sabertooth is more grey and black, got green element mah ?

let me look at MSI SLI again... if price not that high i can get from newegg :D

Mobo failure rate is the highest out of all the component, you really wanna save on it?

Actually pricing on new egg not really that attractive I feel... Hmm

Sent from JARVIS using GAGT

ya the savings are not significant unless you buying something not available here like EVGA stuff... Ram confirm can save quite a bit provided touch wood no issue.

so back to SLS to get MOBO and CPU haha... anyway i have time to think as the Ram wont reach so fast anyway.

I rather get mobo and cpu locally, the savings are not much if any. Ram, gpu and ssd can get from amazon. Now Amazon with free shipping can receive as fast as 8 days from ordering, my last shipment was that fast.

Be warned that > 2666 you'll need BCLK straps. That'll disable EIST and other power saving features.

Yes take note of this TS. I run my ram at 2400 with all power saving on. I no need to go higher speeds, but i go for tighter timings. X99 has quad channel, at 2400 you have 76.8gb/s bandwidth, twice of Skylake!

thanks both for the reminder... is it > 2666 or => 2666 ?
