James milner is more than that. He is not on form now but I feel that he has much more to offer. And by the way, being an energizer is a quality. U can't just train to be energizer also

I also think that milner has more to offer than what he is showing now. Perhaps the weight of captaincy is heavy on him that he is not thinking correctly. And committing himself to every tackle especially those that were late.
He can pack a good shot from the edge of the box and deliver some good crosses from open play. So i think he just need to get back to basics.
I do hope henderson comes back soon. Lucas cannot hold the midfield on every game.

milner is good enough i wouldn't worry about him playing or not playing. Granted he have not had outstanding games but its not easy to replace a player that is guaranteed much better than him and with so much experience.

happy with the tactical styleof Klopp. He is not the type to play Can as **, if Benteke plays, he will want to play a bit target man tactics. its perfect for Liverpool who cannot keep buying players to fit a philosophy. Just play to each players strength. But the false nine lallana up front really toothless, i hope its never tried again.

milner needs to watch alot of videos and trainings.

so far from what i have seen from him, he doesnt know when to close down and when to stay deep.

lucky hes not playing in the middle ytd. if not sure one big hole in the midfield. made lots of pointless closing down ytd. by HT already almost out of gas.

Brendan Rodgers in line to replace Jose Mourinho at Chelsea

Jamie Sanderson for Metro.co.uk
Thursday 29 Oct 2015 10:14 am

Brendan Rodgers is in the frame to become the next Chelsea manager as pressure grows on Jose Mourinho.

The Blues have endured a miserable start to the season and speculation is rife that Mourinho will be sacked if the club lose to Liverpool at the weekend.

A host of names have been mentioned as possible successors to the Special One, and now the Belfast Telegraph says Rodgers has emerged as a serious option.

The Northern Irishman was sacked by Liverpool earlier this month but has strong connections to Chelsea having worked for the club as a youth team coach.

Bookies have slashed odds on Rodgers taking over at Stamford Bridge from 20/1 to 7/1 in recent days, making him one of the front runners to be their next permanent manager.

Rodgers is available to take over straight away, unlike other potential options like Diego Simeone.

Chelsea have a history of appointing interim coaches after making sackings midway through a season, with targets currently contracted to other clubs being difficult to bring in.

Chelsea have finally decided to sack Jose Mourinho – report

Jamie Sanderson for Metro.co.uk
Saturday 31 Oct 2015 11:19 pm

Mourinho was said to be facing a dismissal if his Blues side lost to Liverpool on Saturday at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea lost the match 3-1, and now the Daily Mirror says the club are set to swing the axe and get rid of the Special One.

The paper adds that the only decision left to made is when Roman Abramovich will do it, with some sources suggesting it it’s likely to be before Wednesday’s Champions League clash with Dynamo Kiev.

Mourinho only signed a new contract in August but it includes a clause that says he will get £9.5millon – 12 months salary – if he is sacked by the club.

Milner think he is a midfield general like SG,but he lack intelligence and passing ability of midfield kingpin. Think only reason manshxtty wan retain him cos need English quota.

Yesterday at 61min,there was a thru ball opportunity for firmino, everyone exoect a season veteran like milner to slip the ball in without 2nd tot ,instead he pass back and can tell both firmino and Klopp was gg like "WTF din u guve thru pass??"

Next u know Klopp sub milner out

as much as the good things he do on the field.. i believe in the backroom he is not as vocal as required.. he's like those 'tough to opponents but nice to own pple' chap..

we need someone that 'OI WTF U DOING WAKE UP UR IDEA' to own people like skrtel, or at least hendie can do the same as he is a hardworker..

whereas lucas is more like bring the guy to a corner and 'eh brudderrrrrr, come on lah work harder lehhhhhhh' type of person
Surely Sakho is a good consideration.

suarez was bought in to partner torres. but he chose to join the plastic club to win titles. he then used his money to buy carrot.

suarez / carroll was brought in to replace torres who was leaving back then, not to partner.

anyway, look forward as klopp said. no point reading history liao.

I remember suarez deal was already done before torres was due to leave. Only when torres was insistent on leaving that we had to scramble for a replacement for him. That was then we paid the high price for carroll.
