Anyone can commend on Z5P screen legibility under sunlight? I had been using Z5 for quite sometimes now and I must say it is actually quite bad versus Z1....

Turn off adaptive brightness. It will be better

The adaptive brightness works better under the sunlight.

The screen is actually bright enough to use under direct sunlight, unlike my S5 which is good for all conditions except direct sunlight.

My experience with Z1 is a lot better though....I had turned off adaptive brightness and am going to monitor it for the next few days....

Hshags used to be sony but I'm into gaming so iOS better for me
Prefer iOS UI over android
If I ever come back android camp
Sony will be my first choice

My experience with Z1 is a lot better though....I had turned off adaptive brightness and am going to monitor it for the next few days....

I agree z5p is not as bright. I still have adaptive brightness turned on but my brightness is now set at a quarter of the slider bar. My old z used to be at zero level all the time..

As an ex-owner of Z1, it's screen may be slightly brighter but IMO the Z5P screen looks better.

I had this enabled and after some usage, it automatically disables itself.

Quite annoying to have a feature that doesn't work.

As an ex-owner of Z1, it's screen may be slightly brighter but IMO the Z5P screen looks better.

Compared to my z1. The screen is much much better. Plus the z1 screen look very yellowish compared to z5p

I just saw someone using this IMAK transparent case when I am with Jimmy, the case is even more yellowish than the one which come free with my phone from Hong Kong.

I will be changing to the transparent case from Jimmy as it is much tighter and thicker than my current case.
