After a few days, i realise the current firmware is not ready yet. I am getting slower internet speed compared to my old D-Link DIR-865L. There are just some unknown issue when internet stops loading. My AC devices are not using AC band (on Tri-Band smart connect). WTFast is not working anymore. I cant login to configure now. This is getting me irritated.

What is the speed U get from the wired devices connected to the AC88U ?
I'm using AC3200 as router and AC68U as bridge. I'm getting 702Mbps (on AC68U WebUI) but getting 300+Mbps (upload and download) on speedtest.net
hard power off and power on can login?
Not that i know of anyone in SG who use 2 x AC5300 as Media Bridge.
Why?
1. In media bridge mode, you lose all wireless capabilities for the bridged device, other than the use of 1 5GHz channel to connect to the main AC5300 router.
2. Smart Connect don't think can work in media bridge mode on the bridged device.
3. AC5300 has only 4 gBE ports.. makes a poor gBE switch than AC88U
4. Price of AC5300 >> AC88U and since both similar internal specs. No point getting a AC5300 as bridge.

AC5300 router + AC88U bridge on MR 1Gbps Gamer Plan:
Bridge Performance (current official firmware):
Linked Speed = 1300Mbps (seem max here)
wired PC to the bridge: 700+Mbps down; 480+Mbps up (max on my MR)
Waiting for next firmware for improvement.
Tried it. still cannot.

I want to buy but waiting for the right time when FW is stable. Don't think it is hardware issue.
No matter how i set. it always stuck at 173.3mbps.
I already force the router to use AC band. it doesnt seems like it is connected to AC.
Adapter - Intel AC7260
Curious how far are you away from the router?
Previously you compared to Dlink 865 you were connected to 5G as well I suppose?
Can try setting the control channel to 36 for Band 1 and 149 for Band 2 manually and see what it does there for you. Also can consider trying 20/40/80 mhz channel bandwidth.
For me I am getting 780-1.3gbps connection speed (of cuz the real life speed differs) using DWA-192, 2 rooms away.
