I personally prefer to go via Prince Edward Station, if you're on that MTR line.

Throughout my many years of visits to HK, I noticed that they're more hot-tempered when there are more PRCs around. First it's cultural-shock, then it's understanding that it's a fast-moving pace over there, then after UK signed them back to PRC, I learned to ignore and forget about the "rude" ones.

Our little dot's heading towards that direction, if you've failed to notice. Whenever the place gets too crowded with them, we just get hotter.

My advice is, just visit, do your own stuff and move on. We're not much better if our situation gets to their stage.

You probably (unintentionally) blocked their way?

It's too much of a rush over there, and I'm very careful if I've to use the MTR during peak hours especially in the morning. Just go with the flow of human traffic and don't stop midway to check your map or whatever. If have to, quickly move to a side and don't hesitate to apologize along the way coz you're blocking their way while they rush to work/school.

After all, we're only the visitors there, and making the little effort to apologize for interrupting their daily lives won't kill us either.

SGeans will notice that we've to put in more effort for "Please", "Thank You", and "Sorry", especially those who have been to Hong Kong and compare with what we're experiencing/noticing back home.

glad they didnt scold you. i have a singaporean relative who got scolded in taipei for not keeping to the side when riding escalator.

singaporeans tend to block. really impressed by the way hongkongers, taiwanese and japanese walk.

I don't know if it's a SGean bochap attitude when traveling overseas.

Even friends traveling with me tended to have at least one who went on the wrong side, then claimed he'd move away if anyone came along.

Why want to create inconvenience to others when we can simply go on the correct side in the first place?

My colleague say gd, can accumulate points to offset purchases. Got points when you recommend ppl also. She used for airport transfer too. Reliable.
