Actually it is the posting date that matters not the transaction date on the credit card statement. The posting date not reflected on statement but should not be earlier than the actual transaction date
just to confirm, if i purely use this card for online shopping, 3% rebate capped at $80/mth gives me max spending at $2667 before i dun get any rebates?

what are the changes? didn't see on their website.. only saw Bonus+ Savings Account and Premier Dividend+ Savings
Cashback better. U can use it for anything. After that they deduct from your statement.

Do you know the requirements for the cashback? Any min spend?![]()
Hi Rufin,
Recurring giro payments to SP Services and Town Council are counted towards the $600 spent, and will be eligible for the 0.3% rebates.

How does this work? How does one go about GIRO-ing to the credit card?
Hi leogeo,
If the transaction shows up in your Nov unbilled statement, it will count towards your Nov spending.

Dear Wilson from OCBC,
I think you just gave a wrong information.
I had a similar situation like this.
My Oct statement showed that I have spent $630 and I had to pay $630 for Oct bill.
But I was denied the rebates and only given 0.3% rebates because OCBC says 1 of the transaction ($80) made on 29 Oct was posted in November and so will count towards Nov spending. BUT that transaction was right in Oct statement.
In short:
Oct statement charged me $630.
But I didn't make the cut for the minimum spending in Oct because $80 was supposedly posted in November and should count towards Nov spending. Oct spending now became $550.
How do you explain this?
Hi sg2303,
We will only consider posted date of transactions
Your statement will show the Transacted Date of your purchase. However, the amount may only be posted later in November. If you’d like a confirmation when that October purchase was posted to your card account, we can arrange for a service executive to call you & advise you.

I also encountered the same thing for last month.
it is not our control when the merchant choose to collect the fund despite we made the transactions a few days in advance.
Ocbc is so inflexible about this grey potion. at least standard chartered has a more flexible guideline. whether post in which month, it is still money spent on the card or else who still want to spend on the card without any perk.
