Using the z5p for a month, felt like the battery life is quite short compared to z2. 5hours with moderate usage already left 60% battery life.
30% SOT for 1hr 25min.

the reason is because of constant wake up of Android OS. well known issue in 5.1.1
unless you constantly connected to 4G, Android OS remains the top under battery usage as long as you are on 3G/2G.

such issue does not really exist in KitKat.

Guess we are looking forward for MM and battery life will be better after that. =:p

The Z2 and Z3 can downgrade to Kitkat version, there is no official Kitkat firmware for Z5 series.

So we are just stuck with the battery draining version till marshmallow is available in Jan 2016.

Personally, I have never really bother about any of my phones' battery life. If there is no battery in the phone then charged it loh. If you are outside then get a powerbank loh. If one powerbank is not enough, then get two powerbanks loh.

Everybody's usage different mah. My note3 can last 3.5 days leh. Cannot compare de leh.

If you're after an Android phablet, all three of these phones should be up for consideration. However the combination of excellent battery life, great specs, expandable memory and a sleek form factor put the Z5 over the top for me. Things like Hi-Res audio, PlayStation remote play and the ability to see media in 4K are gravy.

if you are,
stop using standalone Facebook app. surf Facebook on browser instead.
if not, try stamina mode.

anyway the Android OS wake up issue seem to be resolved in marshmallow, though it is running at 100% the whole time.

I have both n infact regretted buying the Z5P. The N6P is a way much better phone vs it. Only positive aspect of Z5P is its 4k display ( when you need it only)

Just a question, does the camera support auto HDR for both front and rear camera? I am also thinking of switching n6p for z5p but I find no reason to hate n6p so far. Haha
