I see it more like a media circus for opportunist.

DPP Founders like 施明德, 林义雄 etc will not disagree..

mai nonsense lah. DPP attracted ppl of the same pattern. the fall of the founders ish spelled from the start.

according to DPP party rule, members have to denounce membership from other parties. if go by this, prolly 1/2 the founders/pioneers would be sacked liao.

a lot of them never resign from KMT even after they founded/pioneered DPP. of the 10 ppl who founded the DPP, about 1/2 of them had KMT membership and never resign from KMT, not counting all the normal members. all opportunists.

it is no surprise that the old opportunists kena ousted by the new batch of opportunists like tsai. birds of the same feather flocked together and pwn each other.

so there ish no need to cry foul.

Taiwan is in economical ruin at the moment.

The most urgent task is to revive their economic power and increase the wealth of the people.

Taiwanese business is deeply intertwined with China market.

They need the business from China and cannot afford to move into isolation.

However, they cannot do anything if China choose not to work with them.

But, I hope she can prove me wrong in terms of unifying Taiwan and making it a Dragon again.

To rebuild their economy, they must open up. Taiwan is quite a closed economy. No economies of scale..too many small biz selling the same things.
They gotta stop antongising China as well. But that's not gg to happen. TW's culture is too populist politics sadly.
