Taiwan is in economical ruin at the moment.
The most urgent task is to revive their economic power and increase the wealth of the people.
Taiwanese business is deeply intertwined with China market.
They need the business from China and cannot afford to move into isolation.
However, they cannot do anything if China choose not to work with them.
But, I hope she can prove me wrong in terms of unifying Taiwan and making it a Dragon again.
To rebuild their economy, they must open up. Taiwan is quite a closed economy. No economies of scale..too many small biz selling the same things.
They gotta stop antongising China as well. But that's not gg to happen. TW's culture is too populist politics sadly.
