I believe LG is clearing stock of the 2015 series of 4K OLED as they are launching soon their 2016 G6 Signature OLED TVs which are just 2.57mm thick, webOS3.0, ColorPrime PRO and HDR Pro.

I was contemplating getting their current 4K OLED but now I think I will wait a few more months and get their latest and greatest model instead.

So the net price u pay is $3,512 after deducting $888?

I thought i saw someone in this tread getting a final net price of $2,500? But to be honest i am abit sceptical as this takes the price of the 920T into the range of the 910T.

im also confirmed buying EG920T. cheapest found is harvey norman 4.4k + $888. can it still be any cheaper anywhere? haha

Aiyoh. I overseas for work lah.

I got it at gain city marina square.

4388 Plus the 888 MasterCard. Shucks. Just realised I typed wrongly. Even so 4388 was the cheapest I could find

Plus 1% rebate as gain city member. Plus one party pack and clip on 3d glasses.

No problem bro. Your final price of $3,500/- is the best deal for the 920T at the moment.

Prices for the 920T seem to be holding steady since Nov 2015 (when i bought mine for $3,400) so i'd say that a good price.

My old 9yr old 47" tv went uplorry thats y i had to buy. For those who r eyeying 4k Oled, if u can wait just wait afew months. The prices will fall as LG will release their new Signature models.

Mine 920T but i stopped cable (SCV & Sinktel) and am using a 4k Android Setop Minix Neo 8H Plus which upscales all content to 2160P

No judder issues but the screen is prone to reflection.

The upscaling for the 8Hplus and the 920T is very good so even 480p streamed looks ok. On Kodi Phoenix, 1080p movies looks damm stunning when upscaled to 2160P.

Dont use the SCV and Sinktel settop boxes la bro. The default resolution is not even FHD and is only 1080i. The contents will be DOWNSCALED on your 920T to 1080i. And you pay a kings ransom for free content that is readily available on android settop. Its a waste of a good Oled 4k.

Get a good 4k Android settop box la so everything is upscaled to 2160P. People will tell u its "just upscaled" and not real UHD but untill Hollywood starts producing native 4k movies, we have to rely on the upscaling and it works.

That depends on the price and the screen size as well as your personal requirements.

For those not fussy about 4k, AND r ok with a smaller 55" screen, the 910T at FHD is ok. If your viewing distance is about 1.5-2m your naked eye wont see the diff between 1080p and 2160P. But for a 65" tv, the 4k reso will matter more.

At any reso FHD or UHD your naked eye will be able to see the increased contrast and perfect black of the Oled even on a 55" FHD screen. If the price is below say $2k its still a good buy IMHO provided u r ok to live with FHD for another 5-7yrs on that TV.

Otherwise get the 920T its about $1k more i think.
