The fact that we can't beat his teams, which are usually only mid table teams at best means lost points which may effect the chances of winning the title.

Unfortunately that had been the case so far.

Hopefully this year his team can help us instead since we have finish playing them and they are on form, ambitious and capable of taking points off our closet rivals.

its means nothing since they take pts against other rivals as well. putting things into context, we have 4 pts in 6 against them whereas city can max get 3 pts. ao we're still 1 ahead..

So seems like elneny is the first and last trf for this jan

Definitely. And I don't see why Wenger should go out of his ways to correct that.

Monreal signed a long-term deal and we can expect Ozil and Sanchez to do the same come this May. Future looks pretty bright with the players we have now.

Reports are saying that we have agreed a loan deal with Villa for Debuchy for a fee of 1.2m gbp.

Quite likely we will recall Jenko from his loan.

Recently he is only sitting on West Ham bench so might as well come home and sit on our bench.

Furthermore if West Ham's bid for the Leeds right back is successful very likely Jenko will be called back.

We will need to refund West Ham the loan fess plus maybe some compensation.

But that will definitely be an upgrade for the depth of our defense.

Let's hope Leicester and Spuds kill each other tonight.

Their 3rd encounter in 10 days.

Leicester should have upper hand since it's at the king power.

Both also thinking about cup glory so should go all out.

A penalty shoot out with Leicester winning should be good.

Man City is our main rival right now. They seem to be getting back in form with Aguero returning to fitness. We also need Sanchez back and scoring fast.

Seems like Chelsea are swooping on Pato. Costa seems injured... If the transfer goes through, we've got Pato to deal with.

West Ham has signed Byram for a 4 year deal.

Which means they really have no need for Jenko now.

Quite likely for him to return to the Emirates with Debuchy heading out.

Like that everyone is happy.

debuchy is good if he's on form or match fit. sadly he didnt take his chances when given opportunities and seem like his mental strength isnt good enough. his on going rant abt wanting to leave the club is disgraceful. better to ship him out and getting jenko back as cover. he will be more determined and loyal to us..

On a side note, the most exciting arsenal youth for me, zelalem, made 8 assist in 17 games while on loan to rangers. We might be looking at ozil succesor

To be fair to Debuchy, Wenger sort of said he would get his chances this season... But with Bellerin putting stellar displays, especially the one against Bayern, Debuchy's fate is pretty much sealed.

Haiz I never understood why we didn't sign pato

From when he was in Milan? I think he was a bullet dodged if we were ever in the race to sign him. PSG almost signed him for millions but Milan kept him and since then he keeps on getting injured. Hearsay he has kept himself fit and rejuvenate his career in Brazil...and he's only 25-26. It'll be an interesting transfer to keep an eye on as long as Arsenal isn't the victim of the Pato comeback story haha.

when given the chances, he didnt take it. simple as tat. a player's character defines how successful their career will be. seriously he's not mentally strong enough to accept challenges. there's a reason when arsene chose to keep faith with bellerin. if debuchy had put enough effort and work doubly hard during training, he wld have played more. tat is why i prefer jenko over him. jenko is a fan and will run thru walls for the team and the club whilst debuchy will run thru doors looking for greener pastures.

That's spot on too. Some might feel it's an insult to be a back up to a 20-year old. I don't think Debuchy is bitter but he's a little too frail in terms of facing challenges. I mean if he wants to go to Villa or some relegation-threatened club and get minutes, does it boost his chances to make it to the French squad? I doubt so...

My main concern is, Debuchy can be a versatile player... He can play as a ** as good as in his natural RB position and i thought it's a handy asset for us.

Been ten years since Walcott signed for us. Sharing an interesting read summarising Walcott's career for club and country.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/arsenal/12110384/Theo-Walcott-remains-the-great-Arsenal-mystery.html

Major fail guy esp for first 8 years.can't tackle. Can't head. Can't defend. Get pushed around. He's lucky ozil joined us and finally won something.

But to be fair, walcott has improved a little and has shown some urgency now that's he's old.
