is for the knowledge also. the course taught in 2nd yr are the topics im interested in. but i just worry i might not even survive 1st yr. haha

Are you eager to have a degree?
If not, then I suggest you can consider UniSIM General Studies programme, it can be completed at your own pace. Even after completion, you can still continue to take up skillsfuture subsidised courses.

You can try handle 1 module first, then slowly increase when you are ready.

Since you are 40 years old, you get an additional 60% subsidies after the 55% subsidies for UniSIM courses. :D

Sustainable infrastructure~😂 I guess it's kind of early, but have you or anyone received any email to go for an interview? Or will they only start inviting around February?

Hey! I applied the same course too. I chose land as my first choice and building services for my 2nd.

What abut you?

That is the most useless degree. You want to be Engineer, you study your major such as Engineering. However by getting a degree from UniSIM General Studies programme, you have no major at all.

Heheh. :) Hope the best for everyone trying!

For the interview I did read up some previous post from other users. Here's one of them but I guess interviews are subjective based on your background.

"I got accepted for SIE land last year. They will look at the modules U studied and ask you about your less outstanding grades. They will ask U what u have done during your FYP, what you know about the course, the reason why your applying for this program. And some Q&A"

Anyone personally from SIE, other tips for the course or interviews will be a great help!:D

I see. Thanks for the tip! I went for the talk during the admission open house and I am interested in the option where it offers railway engineering and TPM. You know anyone who chose that option?

Oh and anyway I believe you are currently doing IWSP. Based on the company offered, it is mainly from stat boards. Have you had any chance to ask around if the degree is applicable for an engineering position in such bodies?

Hope you dont mind all these questions. I abit paiseh to ask during the open house. Hehe:s12:
