having quite bad battery drain recently...

my weekdays life quite routine, i sleep with my 6P at 100% and when i reach home usually left around 30%+- juice (web browing, whatsapp and some games).

these past few days don't even dare to pak game... half day already half the juice gone while i didn't even use the phone much...

i noticed that under history details my WIFI bar is full... thing is i haven't been using WIFI for the past few days liao... (btw my Location > Scanning > WI-FI & bluetooth scanning both are disabled. also google now is disabled)

anybody any ideas or have the same problem?

I have the exact same problem.. It is a wifi bug on 6.0.1.

The way I fix it is as follow:
1) Turn off wifi scanning in all settings
2) turn off wifi from quick menu
3) switch on flight mode
4) reboot phone
5) turn off flight mode

Each time you turn on WiFi and the bug comes back, u will need to do this to reset the WiFi..

Doesn't work for me. WiFi still shows as being on when its not in the battery graph.

When you said turn off WiFi scanning in all settings, do you mean there's more than one place where you can turn it off?

For locking u can try this app called screenoff, either u use the shortcut on the home screen to turn off ur screen or u can set a shortcut where u long press the home button to turn off ur screen (means no more Google now/assist) I don't recall root is needed or not

For unlocking just use fingerprint lo, if u are rooted u can set a volume control button in the pulldown notification menu

Got yourself a stock Android handset like the new Nexus 6P or Nexus 5X? You will be glad to know blocking phone numbers is a breeze! There are two ways to do this. The simplest one is to open your Phone app and access the section containing your recent calls. Long press on any of them and select “Block number”.

Can any one of you check this?
Mine doesn't have this function

According to this article on AndroidPolice, the "Block Number" is a new feature with the new Phone/Dialer app on by Google:

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.dialer

Hope it helps.
