I was prompted by my Nexus 6P this morning and did on OTA update (supposed to bring security fixes) but it turned out that after the firwmare update, WIFI function on the phone is no longer working. Can fellow Nexus 6P users, who did the OTA update today verify if the problem affects your phone as well?
FYI, numerous restarts of the phone does not resolve the problem. Data/Internet access via mobile data (i.e. LTE) is fine.
If it is indeed a firmware issue, I wonder if Huawei or Google will be liable for the mobile data charges incurred.. I recalled that Apple faces class action lawsuit over Wi-Fi assist data usage.

Maybe people sell them their new sets. These two are strangely not among Huawei's list of third party shops carrying Nexus 6P..if I'm not wrong..
Yah I'm aware the OTA rolls out in stages but my phone is always getting it when everyone else got the OTA.... Haha

these 2 shops have always been recommended by other bros earlier in this thread... cheaper and same warranty + same "free" gifts
Side note: just updated to the latest feb patch, no wifi issues
Just joined the ranks of 6P users but yet to move my stuff from note 5 over. Let's see how it goes in a bit

here's mine with a dbrand skin applied.. sorry for the bad quality, it was taken with an iphone 4
for those bros who don't know how to apply the dbrand skin, go youtube and watch the official tutorial, and i did use a hair dryer when applying the area at the top and corners, if not the skin wont stay down
