yes i know the green lantern sux which also stared ryan reynolds... but i don't find it funny at all... i think it's because all these things keep reminding me that i'm watching a movie... good movies are those that make me forget that i'm watching one... good jokes are those that make me laugh without realizing that it's a joke...



but 300 is not marvel movie mah... but i'll call deadpool more of gore than "violent" -- since there was not that much action to begin with...

Why say that? I dont read and not familiar with DP comics but still enjoyed it.

Those who did not enjoy it goes beyond just abt the comics. Its to do with exposure to pop culture past n present.

It's like what I mentioned about the TV series Supernatural ... if you get the pop culture references it's funny as hell. If you don't, it's just about hunters going after monsters and demons, heaven and hell.

i never read any DP comics, but i know roughly who DP is, and still enjoyed the movie due to its wacky sense of humor.

this type of movie is like that de, either you get it or you don't.

just saw the movie yesterday and i would say its not bad 7/10. quite funny in fact especially the one where he tried to hit colossus and got his hands legs broken.

but one thing they should reduce the amt of parody.

The number of people in this thread saying a Deadpool movie should have less "parody" is proof enough. Deadpool is Deadpool; he is like a meme. A movie that didn't do what it did, is not a Deadpool movie.

The worst was when someone said that a good movie would feel like one was not watching a movie. Anyone marginally aware of the material will recognise that is an awful Deadpool movie. Breaking the 4th wall is a basic criteria of a Deadpool movie.

Heck, Deadpool talks to his own speech bubbles.
