Capitaland is an ambitious company. They won't tahan laidback malls like this anymore. Although their Westgate Mall is quite a failure due to non-aircon and poor shop mix.

those who build PC one.. won't really go there anymore. even if i need to build a PC.. i would just buy from parts from various shopee/lazada/amazon/taobao..

then wait it to ship back.

Old funan had this french restaurant on level 2 (i think) was quite good

Old Funan not so many people goes there. Nice aircon, very chill to walk around and relax.

New one crowded like crazy.

Yes this is the real old Funan from 1985.
The one that TS showed is the intermediate Funan after minor upgrades like adding an external escalator and reconfiguring shops in 2005.
Then the whole thing was reconstructed from 2016 to 2019 to Funan Mall of today.

Shopping at old funan can always bump into mediacock celebrities. New funan is boring, I can't remember when was last time i visited there liao.

ya miss the old old funan. i still remember got Big Rooster there on ground floor. so yummy. will ask mother to da bao even after eating the corona chicken rice at the food court.

oh and miss the blasting of Madonna songs from the records shop while eating cheekon rice lol

There was a news agent on the ground floor back when most news came in magazines. Then was it 3rd floor or 4th floor got computer bookshop. Also got a kiosk selling cheap ties outside McD on the ground floor.
