Bought my first PC there. An ARIS 286.

I remember the yellow fluorescent lighting. Made the shops look so dark. Tons of pirated diskettes. We had to wait for the shop to photocopy the 300+ pages of a game manual.

Simi game gotch 300+ page manual? Falcon 3.0?

missed the old challenger. whole floor go 1 round shiok.

also missed the computer books store. like to see see look look.

Sumhow their new flagship store at Bugis' basement feels so lame compared to the Funan top floor Challenger. Dun even feel like walking around there.

yep. it was on the first floor facing the atrium. can't remember if it opened after the first Funan reno or before.
i should have more photos from the earlier days (1980s) but misplaced them somewhere.
