Sad to say vpost has never made any mistakes in calculations for me at least, so most probably your item was shipped in a large box.

Borderlinx on the other hand, tsk tsk. :s8:

more like a VERY LARGE BOX. 30 x 39 x 21... still cannot comprehend.
why would they use such a large box. they themselves will be charged based on volumetric weight or actual weight.

they should have a box that is sufficiently large to fit the purchase but not too large.

i have shopped on net-a-porter and shopbop too. and never have they once sent me anything in such a massive box.

i feel sori for u too. but vpost has nvr been wrong in weighing-measuring with me too.
Barneys pack it a generous box. UPS or fedex will pack it into their own bigger box. Somehow i think the merchants enjoy a very special corporate rate with couriers, or prolly by weight only. Notice in tracking reports, only mass wgt, is reflected, never the volume,
suggest u call vpost to request for repack, throw the boxes,Thou out of ther context, hopefully will be cheaper than shipping.
Sori if we poison you here, thou thrte were warnings. in a good sense, u r wiser now,

maybe you can ask vpost if you can send the package to somewhere else. then have it send to cgw and ask them to repack. will incur a small fee to send it to cgw though.

i've enjoyed discounts by blx but with the other shippers, tsk tsk and no such luck.

most recent case, total cost to ship is USD14.xx. and i spent 0 dollars for the shipping. only need to spend USD2.xx for fuel surcharge.

my worse fears have been confirmed. Barneys Beverly Hills shipped the item in a 15"x12"x8" box citing reasons such as "we don't want to crowd the item"

................................................ -___-
pissed. i will return the item if they refuse to fix it.

sorry to hear that.. i guess that's the risk you have to take when opting for repackaging. i guess that's why post doesn't provide such services since it breaches security..

more than one items were missing? were they costly?

Borderlinx does repacking? I thought only CGW offers that service?

I just recently used vpost after using borderlinx for a while now. Sort of testing it out. To my dismay it is really, really slow. I send out my invoice the day i receive my parcel. fast forward 2 weeks and my account still show that i have yet to send my invoice! Various emails to the CSO went unnotice. Finally fed up i send two invoices at once and 2 days later, my invoice was finally matched!

From these experiences, i will rather stick with Borderlinx. Even tho abit ex, it is much faster and no hassle of sending invoices and stuff.

By right it should be no problem because some guys did use vPost to ship their nook tablets over too.

But if you are worried, use CGW, definitely will get through.
