Quite rare to find in sg and pretty sure all S340 hace side windows.

What's the usage? I7 pretty much not much improvement for gaming.

You won't get anything worth it when you are setting aside 1.4k for a i7 machine. Which is impossible. :)

Motherboard + Processor Gigabyte B150M-D3H + i5 6400 $430
Memory Kingston DDR4 2133 4GB 2 $49 each
Graphics Zotac GTX960 $319 (Lazada)
Power Supply Superflower Leadex 550W Silver $109 (Lazada)
Flash Storage Zotac Premium SSD 240GB $139 (Lazada, may go lower)
Mass Storage Toshiba 3TB 7200rpm 3.5″ $138
Case CoolerMaster N200 $61
Total : $1297

Buy the rest from PCT

Or Haswell to save money.

Motherboard + Processor ASRock B85M-Pro4 + i5 4460 $389
Memory Kingston/G.Skill DDR3 1600 2x4GB $36 each
Graphics Zotac GTX960 $319 (Lazada)
Power Supply Superflower Leadex 550W Silver $109 (Lazada)
Flash Storage Zotac Premium SSD 240GB $139 (Lazada, may go lower)
Mass Storage Toshiba 3TB 7200rpm 3.5″ $138
Case CoolerMaster N200 $61
Cooling Stock cooling
Total : $1227

Sorry forgot to mention, just need the PC coz i already have mouse, keyboard n monitor n all. And for the games, no details yet but basically Call of Duty.

Ouu okok no worries, I'll source out the Casing from somewhere else then.
And the reason i pick i7 is because i do occasionally do Video editing so it'll help with the render with the compromise of not getting a pro gfx card like Quadro. Extra cores would help i believe.

That's what I thought too... just trying my luck. But please do take a look at the reply above, thats the reason why i wanted an i7. Anyways, I will consider bumping the budget to get a decent i7 for the extra cores.

Took a look at the stickied post (PC Buyer's Guide II) last updated Nov 2014. Looks like the entry level i7 system is above $2000+

Skylake i7 would definitely help with the Video editing part im gonna do...

Whats your suggestion for the budget for a Skylake i7, considering to "maximise" the benefits of Skylake as compared to Haswell, im guessing the GFX card in a way has to be on par?

Video editing will be aided by HT but it's not by much. You must consider the price difference (More than 200$!) before committing.
