$1.5k - $1.8k budget rig

Hi all, would appreciate some advice on this rig. Thank you

Purpose of rig:
1. Play games such as: Battlefield 1 ( at max settings ), Dota 2 ( What i play mostly ), Witcher 3, GTA 5, Titanfall 2 ... and mainstream games at max settings at 60fps @ 1080p

2. Edit videos/ photos: After effects, photoshop, lightroom ( can ignore this if my budget doesn't fit as this is not a piority )

3. Last me another 2-3 years before upgrading.


Rig i came up with ( don't plan to OC cause i am not sure how to but am open minded to it ):

Motherboard: H270 Pro

CPU Cooler: 212 Hyper Cooler Master

RAM: Cosair 2*4 GB

SDD: Samsung 850 EVO 250 GB

HDD: Western Digital Blue 1 TB

GPU: MSI Gaming x Radeon RX 480 8GB

Case: NZXT 340 Elite ( Black )

PSU: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze ATX

Total above: $1535 ( price was quoted to me by TradePac, will self assemble. )

OS: Windows 10 ~ $18 ( Carousell )

Speakers: Currently using some old philip speakers ( wouldn't mind an upgrade )


What i don't need:

Screen: Dell U2312HM

Mouse and keyboard covered.

Agree with MianBaoFren. 1.5k can get gtx 1070. Rx480 performance is at gtx 1060 only.

Psu bronze? Lol. Can get Superflower leadex gold at cheaper price, gold rating.

Probably get the rig u recommended, but from tradepac, will the price defer? cause i want to one shot get from one store. Also any alternatives for the casing? cause i don't really like the black/blue.

if u want to save more money, i suggest u not get everything from one shop. nowadays, savings are not achieved by getting all from one. rather, u get it bit by bit using coupons and online sales.

if u use qoo10, consider buying the gpu instead from this shop. there's a shop coupon of 2% and qoo10 has a $100 off $600 coupno to be used. however, i think u need to go and try ask around in the qoo10 thread. should have people with the coupon. total it's 608 - 2% - 100 - 3% from 4 gift cards = $484.

windows u can get from carousell or reddit. carousell pricing is better now i think u can get windows for $20.

and i personally dun think u need a m.2 ssd. but that's just me. u could go for the sata types and budget brands which is like only low 100s for a 256gb one.
