hello, need some recommendations for a rig.

Don't need os, monitor, optical drive, ssd/hdd, kb/mouse.

For high end gaming n prefer aftermarket hsf.

Thanks for your input...

Not sure why you dont need ssd? You bought it already?

Anyway 1.5k

Msi b85m g43 + I5-4570 ~ $347
Gskills ripjaws 1600mhz 2x4gb kit ~ $110
Msi r9 290 4gb twin frozr ~ $688
Superflower hx600 600w 80+ gold ~ $108
Fractal design arc midi ~ $129
Xigmatek gaia ~ $47 optional. Cause i personally think you do not need one unless you going for overclocking build.

Total ~ $1429 buy at tradepac. Diy

Hi Roy,

See your right corner specs, the rigs u have! U have 2 different specs rig?

Based on your own experience or knowledge, intel is better or AMD ?
Believe price wise AMD is slightly cheaper.

Thanks

Please do not follow the AMD rig or Intel rig on my right.

I have spent a lot on it already.

Anyway to answer you is gonna be forever. In short i would say the value of AMD is in their boards. Their boards have SLI and Xfire in x8 x8 config. At $390 you probably can get the board and also a FX8320. Where Intel on the other hand you could get a Z87 board for SLI and Xfire board with i5-4670k at around $499.

On the other hand both intel and AMD CPUs have 2 very different usage. Is up to your choice. I leave it for you to google the rest.

Bro Roy, if super flower no stock u got other revommendation

Superflower no stock? Can go for seasonic s12ii gold. But slightly more ex and non modular.

Can try selling them off or keep them as back up in case your new parts fail (touch wood).
