You will 99% of the time see the blue led from the reactor... it will mask the yellow-ness of the fan.

If you watch frm 6 mins onwards, when the card is in the testbench, the blue reactor at the back will light up. Not sure how bright will it be.

Depends loh. I only know the TDP is 230w consumed lesser than the r9 280x.

But however if you intend to OC for the 7970 then best is get the 600w. But lets say you wanna go dual GPU then most probably 850w and above will be good.

But take note that a B85 mobo in Xfire mode is 8x and 4x unlike a z87 mobo that will go 8x 8x for each pcie slot.

Can get the Gigabyte one loh or lightning edition. If you dont mind ref card then the r9 290 if you want also can get $550 around there.

Lightning edition which one ? I dont really mind ref card bt some say the ref card bladr very easy spoil . bt ref card sometimes quite hot . But i also whether gwt r9 280x toxic its the best out of all the 280x in terms of clock speed
