1 day KAOSHIUNG/KENTING

Any recommendations for travel/stay/food?

i'm landing 6am at TPE. and plan to stay a night at KAOSHIUNG/KENTING.

first timer.

landing at taipei. i know its end to end. so i guess, by the time i reach kaoshiung will be about noon time.

Should be able to reach zuoying by 10am.
If kenting, ard 1-2pm.

31 Jul. Im taking the midnght flight so will land like 6am
U be heading to tw during that period too? Im actually planning to visit like a day so I can spend 2 days in Taichung and 2 days Taipei

If that's the case, will advise not to waste time. Too rush to go to the other end.
Spend more time in Taipei, Yilan or Hualien could be a better option.

what are your plans? 4 days to cover taipei and kaohsiung/kenting is rush, and the hsr to/fro taipei/kaohsiung costs is not cheap. might as well spend this money in taipei shopping.

Why not fly in Koashiung than fly out Taipei. You save time and cut one HSR trip ticket.

well. actually i am the kind of traveller who doesn't plan anything. lol. i feel like flying, i just buy the ticket. kaoshiung is not a must must to go . but im hoping to pop by for a day or so since i have no itinerary or plans yet.

i'll be popping by taichung and taipei as i'll be probably catching up with my taiwanese friends.

if there really isn't any point in popping by kaoshiung for a day, i guess i'll skip and just stay an additional day in taipei. HAHAH!

Do as you wish.
If you are not rushing, can always take the bus.
Of course, if you feel rich, can always take the HSR impromptu.
