he Nintendo Switch 2 will go on sale in Singapore on June 26 for S$719 (check out the pricing for all launch accessories, games, and bundles too). But if, for whatever reason, you're still on the fence about dropping a chunk of your monthly salary on Nintendo's next-gen console, there's good news: you'll be able to try it out first before making up your mind.

From 20 June to 24 July 2025, Nintendo will host a pop-up at the B1 Atrium in Jewel Changi Airport, where visitors can experience the Nintendo Switch 2 and its launch title, Mario Kart World. According to Nintendo, you’ll be able to race with up to two players and try out the game’s new Knockout Tour mode. There's no prize for winning though.

Naturally, if you’ve already made up your mind, you can also place a pre-order at the venue (until 25 June) or purchase the console outright from 26 June onwards. On top of that, play Mario Kart World at the event and either pre-order or purchase the Switch 2, and you’ll receive a free Nintendo tote bag – while stocks last.

My advice? Go for the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle, which retails for $769. It includes a physical cartridge of the game, and you’ll save a decent chunk of money too – especially since Mario Kart World is priced at S$119.90 on its own.

Aussie selling it for AUD705 with the Mario Kart bundle now at JB HiFi.

Target quoted me AUD599 but I reckon the store assistant was mistaken it for the OLED version.

They launched it on 5 June liao.

Srsly. You want people to buy, put a game like Street Fighter as the launch game - the games that Switch 1 cannot support but Switch 2 can, should be the games you push out 1st.
