DEAR TS

I was in your shoes a year ago!!
Poly batch but cause of medical check up delayed my enlistment till Dec (my napfa expired then lazy renew)
Dec is a mix batch of poly and jc students and PTP phase is the most enjoyable part of my life in NS so far! So do look forward to it! XD

Cheers!

Last day of exam 24 nov. Wow less than 3 wks to relax only

PTP phase relax only!!
It's like PT lessons for 2 months w regimentation and disciple.

I hav friends who rested for a few months(pass napfa) after A level. After he enlisted, he couldn't even get close to passing ippt cause he got fat due to months of slacking

Poly kia here but enlisting several weeks before you (27/11 BP intake but same batch). Only got my PES and enlistment confirmed late-July. I hope still can disrupt for uni in 2016!

Oo I have a friend enlisting that day as well. Haha not possible for us to disrupt from what I understand as we need to serve a minimum of 21 months before we can disrupt and we only ord on march 2017

20 months actually, if I didn't read wrong/outdated info. 20 months from 27/11 this year is just about end-July, just in time for uni to start.

EDIT: The conditions stated on the NS site
Minimum Service Period
The earliest date that NSFs can disrupt is on the 1st of the month that they
complete the minimum service period stipulated in the table below, or one week
before the start of the official course term for local studies (two weeks before
the start of the official course term for overseas studies), whichever is later.
Approval will not be granted for NSFs to be disrupted for orientation or other
pre-matriculation activities.

Disrupted NSFs are required to serve their remaining full-time NS in
one continuous period immediately upon completion of studies.
NSFs must submit their applications for disruption, together with documentary
proof, through their unit Manpower Officer to MINDEF/SAF HRSC for approval
three months prior to their date of disruption. Late or incomplete application
may be rejected.

MONTH OF ENLISTMENT : MINIMUM SERVICE PERIOD
December / June : No Disruption
January / July : 24 months
February / August : 23 months
March / September : 22 months
April / October : 21 months
May/ November : 20 months

If my brain didn't fart, I believe I'd be able to disrupt from a week before the course starts. But yeah, you won't be able to disrupt.
