Hi, 10 Oct is Taiwan National Day. Are the places of interest and shops open on this day? Thank you.

Yes, all open as per normal..

But if u wana visit the parade area, need apply pass one..And then usually at night got Fireworks at Dadaocheng Wharf..

I deliberately chose this period back in 2011 to see the parade and fireworks..

Oh ok. Coz i will be staying 2 nights in taichung and 5 nights in taipei.. Just wana make sure the shops are open if not mayb will spent my 8 days in taipei alone.
