[Advice] $1000 Budget gaming rig

Hey guys!
As mentioned in the title above, I'm looking for a $1000 mid/full tower gaming rig (rig only, no os or anything) with easier upgradability in the future (this would be my 1st build and I don't want to spend so much yet (scared fail=:p)) I would prefer to start with a single graphics card for this build and then upgrade to a dual graphics card (SLI/Crossfire enabled mobo and cards required), so mobo and cpu would be more important in this build although I understand that it may bottleneck the system. Case is also important in this build as I'm going to upgrade in the future and don't want any cooling problems. Wifi card is also needed but does not need to be included in the budget.

Additional info:
I'd like it to have a green or red and black color theme
If I can buy some parts cheaper online I don't mind doing so, but I understand that its much better to buy all your parts in one go.
Planning to play medium-high graphics intensive games in 1080p every now and then (Titanfall, Watchdogs, LoL, Bioshock infinite, Borderlands 2, Crysis 2/3 (basically all the mainstream games))
Prefer a SSD and HDD combo (SSD for OS and other key programs only)
Would like to know about prices of peripherals, e.g. monitor(23 inch preffered) , mouse and keyboard, speakers and OS (Win 7)

If anything of the specs are out of budget or anything let me know as I can pay a bit more for them if I can afford them.

P.S Thanks in advance for all you HWZers for helping me!

My advise is to up your budget to up to 1.7k at least if you do not mind.

Including peripherals and monitor inclusive.

With that kind of budget you can set up a better specs pc. Better than start with a tight budget of $1k.
