11 Day Itinerary Help

Hi all,

After my previous trip earlier this yr in March, decided to go for a longer stay in TW nxt yr in early Mar.

This time I'm feeling a wee bit more adventurous, and opting to go to Taichung, and hopefully Tainan (Kao Hsiung).

Attached barebone sample itinerary below, advice appreciated.

I'm actually more looking for ideas on how to get from place to place

02 + 03 @ Taichung
The idea i have is to spend the first day near FJ NM, and go sightseeing, and back to my bunkhole (Hermit Crab or Beacon or Le Parker).

Main focus : FengJia NM (Stay on 2nd?) Train station to NM approx. 30 minutes, via Bus 35. Cab fare approx. 300 NT. 悠游卡> Chk if ok. To prep small change.
Sightseeing :
1. Carton King (纸箱王）100 NT Entrance Fee. Bus 68 from Feng Jia University
2. Moncoeur (心之芳庭) 200 NT Entrance Fee. To and Fro via Cab

[Was thinking of going to SML and Ab Cultural Village, but looks hard for the transport @.@]

04 Tues+ 05 Wed @ Kao Hsiung
Main purpose here is to visit the 2 NMs. Bunkhole likely at T-hotel. Planning in progress here. Suggestions welcome.
a. 金鑽夜市 & 凱旋夜市 (KaoHsiung)

06 to 12 @ Taipei. Confirm will be taking HSR back since other forms of transport will take too long otherwise. Itinerary for Taipei is no problem.
a. Liaoning / Nanya NM
b. 寧夏夜市 near to shuanglian mrt
c. Taipei Zoo (Better experience than sg)
d. Houtong Cat Village
e. Dan Shui
f. Rao He NM

One thing though : is 悠游卡 usable throughout TW? I recall it is only for TP, though the stuff I read on the bus webbys seem to suggest otherwise... Little help here?

Land and go KS first then Taichung then Taipei..

Taoyuan HSR to KS, KS can TRA to Taichung then Taichung TRA to Taipei..

the 悠游卡 supposed to be retofit to b usable all across tw (bus website is correct) but then whether can b use anot is another problem

some bus coy might still not retofit to the card. nevertheless it is best to haf a 悠游卡 wif u. if can use den use. if cannot den pay cash lo

Was planning my trip from
TY > KH : this leg is ok.
KH > TC : Got confused. How many TC Train stations are there? I was planning to take bus 35 from the train station to FJ NM. If i TRA from KH to TC, will this still work? (I am assuming that i will be taking the TRA from KMS(R11) to TCS. Any idea how long will this take?)
