11 days Taiwan trip

Need some help regarding my taiwan trip.. Was wondering should i stay at a inn at taipei for e whole 11 days while travelling to other cities or "jump hotel"? Anyway, whats ur recommendation to go other cities besides taipei? Any motel or hotel to recommend? Thanks in advance.

i spent 9 days in Taipei recently.
Stayed a few hotels and the best i find is cityinn near ximending.

Staff extremely friendly, facilities well provided and if you are bored....
can watch Adult movies wor....

My worst experience is Minsu at Jiufen.
Not really that comfortable...lucky is 1 night!

i prefer staying different hotels if i linger for a long time.
eg 7 days travel, 3 days in A Hotel, 4 days in B Hotel.
For better lodging experience and exploring surrounding areas!

The feeling of sleeping different hotels is damn nice rah.
at least you wont get bored in 1 area for too long.

deh if u stay 1 day at X hotel and another day
at Y hotel, you got to carry all your luggage and shopping bag
too. not advisable lah

Haha. Unless u are going backpack else changing hotel is quite troublesome.

If you are travelling to another city, it makes sense to check out of your hotel in Taipei, and move to a hotel in the other city. If not, you'll have to return to Taipei every night, which is not practical, a complete waste of time/money and tiring. It also constrains you to cities that are near Taipei, which is very limiting.

Bring just 1 bag, and travel light ( I say this to all newbie travellers because I've learned this lesson the hard way), and changing hotels will not be a problem.

Don't shop too much in Taipei and lug your purchases all over Taiwan. Leave the shopping for the last couple of days when you return to Taipei.
